The Key to Your Success
Specialized training and experience enables Certified College Planning Specialists to untangle the mess, focus on the issues pertinent to specific situations and identify the questions you may not have even known you have!
With deadlines associated with FAFSA, PROFILE and college financial aid form filing, we can now make a complex, time consuming process simple and painless for you.
Let experts who understand all the rules help you get what you deserve. Misfiled forms can cost you thousands in financial assistance.
This program provides you with an educational financial advisor who will analyze, compare, review, explain, advise and help you implement the most cost efficient loan package for your situation. We will look at loans and options that are available to the parent and the students, whether they are attending a 2 year, 4 year, graduate, professional, certification, vocational or attending a college out of the country. You will learn specific college programs, federal loan programs, alternative loan programs, home equity options, business loans, grandparent loans, and other creative borrowing strategies. You will learn whether the loans should be in the student's name or the parent's name. You will compare the costs, origination fees, points, rates and other factors that are used to price out student loans. A plan to help parents and students to manage the student loan debt will be created for repayment based on amortization tables, cash flow projections, debt restructuring and other appropriate vehicles to use for the future lump sum or monthly repayment of loans. Help will be provided every step of the way!
Negotiations and Appeals
This program will help you determine if you received the best award package possible. You will learn if the college has under awarded or mis-awarded your award package? Do you think you should have received more? Did you know that the first offer, is not necessarily the last? Find out why the "boiler-plate" letters in books and on the internet do not work.
You will rethink the traditional approaches to planning and paying for a post secondary education. If you wish to reduce the overall cost of a higher education without depending on financial aid, this self-study tutorial program will help!
